A new statewide poll finds Nebraskans who live in cities more optimistic about the future than those who live in rural areas.
Just over six in 10 metropolitan residents say they are better off today than they were five years ago compared to 52 percent of rural folks.
In addition 55 percent of city dwellers believe they will be better off in 10 years compared to 47 percent of those outside the cities.
The University of Nebraska poll has a margin of error of roughly 3 percent, plus or minus.
