Grand Island man arrested as police investigate multiple overdoses over weekend
A central Nebraska man is in jail after an investigation into several overdoses.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb.-- A central Nebraska man is in jail after an investigation into several overdoses.
Grand Island Police say the incidents included the death 40-year-old and overdoses of a 20-year-old and 17-year-old.
Authorities say one of the overdose investigations lead to search warrant at an apartment on walnut street in grand island.
19-year-old Mohamed Ahmed was arrested, and during a search of his home, authorities found cocaine, marijuana, pills and firearms.
He was arrested on numerous charges.
Police say the overdoses appear to involve black market pills being sold as Percocet, although their actual contents remain under investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
