Time is running out to vote on a multi-million dollar bond issue for Omaha’s Westside School District.

Election Day is tomorrow (Tuesday) for this vote only-by-mail election, an up or down vote on $121 million.

The money would go to build three new elementary schools replacing three others, along with repairs to Westside High School, Middle School and one other elementary school.

In 2015, Westside voters easily okayed an $80 million bond issue, that money going to safety and security throughout the midtown Omaha district.

A yes vote would raise property taxes $147 a year on a $300,000 home.
