OMAHA, Neb. -- A 25-year-old Omaha man was hospitalized after he was allegedly assaulted and shot at Monday morning.

Shortly before 9:00 a.m. Monday, Omaha Police officers were called to the area of 92nd and Cady Avenue for a reported shooting.

Officers were informed that the reported victim was transported by private vehicle to Methodist Hospital.

The 25-year-old man stated that three suspects assaulted him before shooting at him. The reported victim has non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to UNMC for further treatment.
