LINCOLN - If anybody steps foot inside of the Lincoln Southwest High School gym this week, it may be pretty dark in there - that's what happens when the Silverhawks shoot the lights out!

Lincoln Southwest entered Saturday night's contest against Lincoln North Star as winners of 8 out of their last 9 games. The Navigators had their own 4-game win streak to flaunt, but from the opening tip, Lincoln Southwest took control.

Seven different players scored for Lincoln Southwest in the first quarter, jumping out to an 11-0 run and then an 18-11 lead after one quarter.

The dominance really took a turn in the Silverhawks favor in the second quarter, thanks to Braden Frager's 16 first half points.

At the break, Lincoln Southwest led 41-23.

Frager only got more confident in his shot, knocking down three triples, ending the third quarter with 31 points.

Add in some emphatic dunks from Braden Frager and Jaxyn Cruse to cap off the night and the Silverhawks leave the home fans happy with an 84-65 win over the Navigators.

The win makes it 9 out of its last 10 for Lincoln Southwest.

Braden Frager dropped a 30-burger, scoring a total of 33 points. BJ Bradford added in 17 points in the victory and Jaxyn Cruse tossed in 13.

Lincoln North Star was led by Lazarek Houston, scoring 22 points. Freshman Jordan Castor finished with 13 points and KG Gatwech scored 10.

The Silverhawks jump to 12-6, while the 'Gators fall to 11-8.
