PLATTSMOUTH, NE - The Plattsmouth Blue Devils defended their home turf for a 7-4 win over the Auburn Bulldogs on Thursday, March 28. Plattsmouth scored twice in the first and once in the second to go up 3-0. Auburn closed the gap to one with a pair in the third inning, but they would get no closer. Each team committed three errors in the contest, and Plattsmouth held a 10-6 lead in hits.

The Blue Devils were led by Gage Olsen, who went 3/4 with two runs, one RBI, and a double; and Caleb Adkins, who was 1/2 with a pair of runs and a double. Olsen also stole two bags. On the mound, Olsen threw five innings to get the win, giving up just two unearned runs on three hits with four strikeouts.

The Bulldogs saw Jackson Warner shoulder the defeat after tossing four innings and allowing three earned runs on seven hits with three whiffs. At the dish, Auburn's Travon Shaw wound up 2/4 with a run scored & a swiped bag.

Auburn is now 2-5 on the season, while Plattsmouth sits at 4-1.
