ST. EDWARD, Neb. — Authorities in Nebraska are actively looking for a 13-year-old girl.

The Nebraska State Patrol issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for Shinel Bailey Rose Justus on Thursday. An EMA is a secondary alert through the Nebraska State Patrol that is issued when circumstances don’t meet the criteria for an AMBER Alert.

The state patrol says Justus is a 5-foot-2 white female who is 13 years old and weighs about 120 pounds. She has long, sandy brown hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a black winter coat and a multicolored leopard silver Justice Brand backpack. She was last seen on Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. in St. Edward and was possibly heading to Hastings. The state patrol says she could be with a teenage white male with long brown hair.
