Dawson man suspected of homemade explosives
FALLS CITY- The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports the discovery of prohibited weapons, homemade explosives and methamphetamine after executing a search warrant in Dawson on Tuesday.
A press release says Charles Ocoa is suspected of firearms and explosive violations, as well as maintaining a drug house, using explosives to commit a felony and habitual criminal.
The search warrant was served at 430 Fourth St.
The action follows a search Sunday of a Humboldt residence, where six firearms, three knives and nine pounds of marijuana were seized.
David Wells and Bianca Ramirez are suspected of possession of firearms and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
A press release says the Humboldt investigation was initially related to a firearm offense reported to a Nebraska Game and Parks officer.
