STORRS, Conn. (AP) — Jamiya Neal had a career-high 24 points to help Creighton snap UConn's 28-game home winning streak with a 68-63 victory on Saturday.

The 14th-ranked Huskies hadn't lost at home since an 82-79 loss on Jan. 25, 2023, to then-No. 13 Xavier.

Ryan Kalkbrenner had 16 points and Steven Ashworth scored 12 for the Bluejays (12-6, 5-2 Big East).

Hassan Diarra and Solo Ball each had 15 points for UConn (13-5, 5-2).

Four consecutive points from Alex Karaban capped a 12-2 run early in the second half to put the Huskies up 43-41. Creighton answered with a pair of dunks in a 6-0 run to regain the lead.

After missing its first three 3-pointers, Creighton hit four in a row with Isaac Traudt giving the Bluejays their first lead midway through the first half. The Huskies regained the lead twice in the first, but Creighton scored 10 of the last 12 points of the half to take a 35-28 lead into the locker room.

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Nique Clifford had 23 points and 11 rebounds to power Colorado State to a 79-63 victory over Wyoming on Saturday.

Clifford also handed out five assists for the Rams (11-7, 5-2 Mountain West Conference). Jaylen Crocker-Johnson had 11 points and seven rebounds. Jalen Lake scored 10.

Obi Agbim led the way for the Cowboys (9-9, 2-5) with 26 points and six rebounds. Dontaie Allen added 14 points.

Colorado State took the lead with 16:08 left in the first half and did not relinquish it. The score was 36-28 at halftime, with Crocker-Johnson racking up nine points. Clifford scored 17 in the second half.

Thompson, Avery lead Oklahoma State's balanced attack in 83-73 win over Colorado

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Bryce Thompson and reserve Marchelus Avery each scored 15 points and Abou Ousmane scored 14 points and Oklahoma State beat Colorado 83-73 on Saturday.

Reserve Patrick Suemnick scored 10 points for Oklahoma State (10-7, 2-4 Big 12), which ended a two-game losing streak.

Bangot Dak scored 15 points, reserve Sebastian Rancik 11 and Julian Hammond III 10 for the Buffaloes (9-8, 0-6), who have lost six straight.

Avery's 3-pointer with 10:55 left before halftime broke a tie at 14 and the Cowboys led for the remainder.

Andrej Jakimovski's 3 with 8:16 left before halftime reduced Colorado's deficit to 24-21, but the Cowboys outscored Colorado 19-12 for the rest of the first half and led 43-33 at intermission. The Buffaloes made runs to close within five (43-38) and four (45-41) in the second half but never got closer.

Khalil Brantley made a jump shot, Avery made two foul shots and Brantley added a layup for a 6-0 run that gave Oklahoma State a 64-50 advantage with 9:15 left. Dak's jump shot with 30 seconds left marked the last time Colorado got within 10 points (82-73).

Colorado hosts BYU on Tuesday. Oklahoma State hosts Arizona on Tuesday.

Minessale scores 17, St. Thomas-Minnesota beats Denver 74-62

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Nolan Minessale scored 17 points as St. Thomas-Minnesota beat Denver 74-62 on Saturday night.

Minessale shot 4 of 4 from the field and 8 of 10 from the free-throw line for the Tommies (15-5, 5-0 Summit League). Miles Barnstable scored 14 points, shooting 5 for 9, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc. Drake Dobbs shot 4 of 8 from the field and 5 for 6 from the line to finish with 13 points.

Sebastian Akins led the Pioneers (6-15, 0-6) in scoring, finishing with 14 points. Nicholas Shogbonyo added 11 points for Denver. Pedro Lopez-Sanvicente also put up eight points. The loss was the Pioneers' ninth straight.

Hawthorne's 17 lead Northern Colorado over Sacramento State 68-64

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Isaiah Hawthorne's 17 points helped Northern Colorado defeat Sacramento State 68-64 on Saturday night.

Hawthorne shot 4 of 10 from the field, including 3 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 8 from the free-throw line for the Bears (14-5, 6-0 Big Sky Conference). Langston Reynolds scored 14 points while shooting 5 of 6 from the field and 4 for 5 from the foul line and added seven rebounds. Jaron Rillie shot 1 of 3 from the field and 9 for 10 from the free-throw line to finish with 11 points. The Bears picked up their eighth straight win.

Jacob Holt finished with 25 points, nine rebounds and four blocks for the Hornets (5-13, 1-4). Mike Wilson added 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals for Sacramento State. Lachlan Brewer also recorded eight points and two steals.
