HASTINGS, Neb. – Two familiar faces in the Hastings football world will be competing in their hometown for Hastings College this fall.

Brothers Jarrett and Tucker Synek announced their commitments to the Hastings College Football program on Monday in a post on social media.

Both played quarterback for Hastings High School for three seasons. Jarrett competed from 2018-2020 and threw for 5,622 yards and 65 touchdowns in 31 games.

Tucker was the starting quarterback from 2022-2024 and threw for 4,751 yards and 33 touchdowns in 30 games.

Jarrett will spend his final year of eligibility with the Broncos after previous stops at Nebraska, and most recently, South Dakota St.

"Excited to be able to finish my career where it all started!" Jarrett wrote on X.

Hastings College Football went 2-9 last season, and parted ways with Offensive Coordinator Ken Fasnacht at the end of the season.

The Broncos hired James Bauer from Kansas Wesleyan to fill the vacant position.

The Quarterback position was shaky for Hastings College, as starter Carson Kudlacek from St. Cecilia was benched for Cassius Campbell in the second half of the season.
