WEST POINT, Neb. - Linemen from KBR Rural Public Power District in Ainsworth are on the ground in eastern Nebraska, helping restore power after a recent blizzard left thousands in the dark.
Cuming County Public Power District shared a photo of the crew on Facebook, thanking them for their efforts.

"Thanks for helping restore power to our customers," the district wrote.
As News Channel Nebraska previously reported, the blizzard knocked out electricity across central and eastern Nebraska. Norris Public Power has also warned residents that downed power lines may still be live and urged anyone who sees one to call 1-800-858-4707.
