The movies leaving Hulu this month
November can be a stressful month, as it marks the beginning of an often hectic holiday season. Whether you're planning to host an elaborate Thanksgiving feast or prepping to face the crowds to travel to your loved ones, you're likely dealing with end-of-year deadlines that are piling up, too. So when you find time to unwind during it all, one of the easiest things to do is just sit back and turn on a good movie. But just be prepared to be down a few options for films this month when it comes to Hulu.
There are many reasons why a movie might leave Hulu—the rights may no longer be available, or its popularity may not justify the cost of licensing it, for example. Whatever the reason may be, the popular streaming platform is cutting 13 movies from its catalog in November.
In terms of holiday movies, Hulu is axing one Christmas movie before we even make it to December. "The Good Witch of Christmas," a live-action and animated film about two children being babysat by their reformed convict uncle's house on Christmas Eve while their parents do last-minute holiday shopping, is set to depart the streamer on Nov. 30.
Fans of "Wednesday's" Jenna Ortega also have less than a month to catch one of her films before it leaves Hulu. The 2022 American comedy horror film "American Carnage," which stars Ortega as a teenager who gets arrested under a new government order targeting children of undocumented immigrants, will be removed from the platform on Nov. 11.
