New Pub & Grub opens in Kimball

KIMBALL -- Friday night was the long-awaited opening of TT’s Hometown Pub & Grub in Kimball.
The Pub & Grub began its “soft launch” Friday night where they will be open every day, but their hours will vary until they are fully staffed.
“The main goal is to be open for lunch and dinner,” said Co-owner Christina Taylor.
People can check their Facebook page for a day-to-day update on hours.
In February 2024, Christina and Terry Taylor and Christina’s son Tyson Culek began renovating a space downtown that was previously known as Plaza West Antique Mall to the now TT’s Hometown Pub & Grub.
The Pub & Grub offers fresh, made-to-order 16” pizzas, wings and appetizers including zucchini sticks, spinach dips and more. The menu also includes gluten-friendly pizza made with a cauliflower crust, as well as a kid's menu and a dessert menu – the biggest hit being the cannoli.
The drink menu includes tap beer, bottled beer and limited mixed drinks. For non-drinkers, there are soda pop options and water.
The space offers a jukebox and 7 gaming devices including a pool table that is free for a limited time.
“We want to give a big thank you to the community for showing up, being patient with us, and showing their support that we can do this and provide what we can for our community,” Christana said. “We cried a river last night of happy tears – it was just amazing.”
They ask that the community continue to be patient as they go through this transition period.
