SPRINGFIELD, Neb. -- Authorities have released more details about a fatal accident in southeast Nebraska.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's office said 19-year-old Gage Nech of Gretna died in the incident early Sunday morning in Springfield.

Authorities said Nech drove his truck from Springfield to the location of the incident and stopped his car.

Eighteen-year-olds Briar Campbell and Garett Plambeck, both of Gretna, were passengers in the car.

Police said Nech and Campbell got out and began to wrestle each other in the road.

Investigators say Plambuck - unaware that Nech and Campbell were on the ground - put the truck in drive.

The truck then reportedly rolled over Nech, causing his fatal injuries.

Authorities say alcohol may have been a factor.
