19-year-old jailed after starting duplex on fire
Lincoln Police said a 19-year-old has been cited after starting a fire in the basement of a duplex over the weekend.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln Police said a 19-year-old has been cited after starting a fire in the basement of a duplex over the weekend.
Police said the fire was started early Saturday morning at the duplex near 32nd and Q Streets.
Police said when officers arrived at the scene they saw the unidentified 19-year-old interfering with firefighters at the scene. He admitted to starting the fire at the scene, and his story was backed up by neighbors in the duplex.
Police said about $50,000 worth of damage was done.
