LINCOLN, Neb.-- The Nebraska Legislature heard LB1037, Thursday, a bill that would require the department of administrative services to contract for an evaluation of the state's procurement practices.

Back in 2019, Saint Francis Ministries failed to deliver on contractual obligations and even ended up having to suspend their CEO.

The bill indicates it might cost $200,000 to $400,000 for a consultant study, to be completed by November 15th.

There were no opposition letters or neutrals.

Four proponents were noted.
