BEATRICE - Meridian used tenacious defense to claim the MUDECAS Division B Title.

The Mustangs stifled Lewiston on Friday night, defeating the Tigers 41-25.

Jaslyn Ward put up a game-high 11 for Merdian. Carleigh Weyers led Lewiston with nine points.

The victory marks the first MUDECAS title for Meridian since 2016.
