Almost two years into an unprecedented third term, Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert tells News Channel Nebraska she has not decided if she’ll run for a fourth term.

The city’s first woman mayor, Stothert delivered her 10th State of the City Address Tuesday where she talked up plans for a $300 million streetcar, a new and improved riverfront with several grand openings set for next year, along with new libraries.

With all that in play, NCN’s Joe Jordan asked the Republican mayor about that possible fourth term in 2025 and one key Democrat, State Sen. Mike McDonnell, who is clearly thinking about his own bid.
