Crash near Omaha kills one, injures another

VENICE, Neb. -- A crash near Omaha killed one person and injured another.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said officers were sent to West Center Road, west of 264th St, around 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday for a report of a personal injury accident.
Officials said a gray Jeep was going east on West Center Road and crossed the center line, hitting a white Chevy Impala that was going west. The Jeep reportedly rolled and ejected the driver while the Impala went into the ditch on the north side of the road.
According to authorities, the Impala driver was pinned inside of the vehicle and was dead. The ejected Jeep driver was reportedly life-flighted to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the Impala was identified as 24-year-old Abby Olberding of Carroll, Iowa.
The investigation is ongoing.
