Arthur County sweeps Creek Valley Tuesday night
ARTHUR – Senior Jaedin Johns had 15 of her 17 points in the first half and helped Arthur County girls team get a 55-29 victory over Creek Valley.
Senior Laynee Ohm added 13 of her own points and freshman Ava Wenzel.
Creek Valley Was led by senior Ella Whiting who ended the night with 15 points.
Junior Ava Fraass added six of her own points.
The lady Wolves improved their record to 1-2 and will travel to Cody-Kilgore and face the 0-2 Cowgirls on Friday, December 7. Creek Valley falls to 0-2 and will host Bayard (3-0) on Thursday, December 6.
Arthur County boys’ team was led by Talan Storer who ended the game with 14 points while knocking down 3 3’s.
Sophomore Reese Swanson and junior Kane Delatour added nine of their own points.
Creek Valley was led by sophomore Lane Brenneman who dropped a game high of 27 points. Brenneman fouled out middle of the fourth quarter.
Junior Zander Polk added 8 of his own points.
Arthur County Boys get their first win at 1-2 and will travel to Cody-Kilgore on Friday December 7 and face the 1-1 Cowboys. Creek Valley will play Bayard (0-3) in Chappell Thursday, December 6.
