OMAHA, Neb. -- After nearly a month, a suspect has been arrested in Arkansas in connection to an Omaha homicide. 

20-year-old Wuanya Smith has been arrested in connection to the homicide of 22-year-old Anthony Collins III that happened Aug. 12. 

According to the Omaha Police Department, Smith was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service Easter Arkansas - Little Rock Task Force. 

Smith was arrested approximately 625 mi from Omaha. 

On Aug. 15, OPD said Smith was wanted for second-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person related to Collins' homicide. 

Collins was murdered in a shooting that happened Aug. 12. It was reported the shooting happened near N 49th & Charles Streets.
