And as always there’s a long, long list of items not allowed in the stadium, leading the list “weapons of any kind” and that includes fake weapons, and objects resembling a weapon.

And in case you’re wondering, yes Nebraska has a new permit less concealed carry law, but it doesn’t go into effect for three months. And regardless of that, according to police permit or no permit concealed weapons are not allowed in or around the ballpark.

Police also make it clear that the first line of defense is the fans themselves.

Police urging that any “suspicious behavior” or “unattended items” be reported immediately as they emphasize what they emphasize every year: “If you see something, say something.”
