One person dead after single-vehicle accident in Omaha
Omaha authorities say they are investigating a crash that killed one person on Monday.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha authorities say they are investigating a crash that killed one person on Monday.
The Omaha Police Department Traffic Unit said the fatal crash happened Monday night at Happy Hollow Boulevard and Dodge St.
Officers said they responded to the scene at 8:42 p.m.
Investigators said they determined a Nissan Maxima was heading north on Happy Hollow when it drifted to the left, leaving the road.
OPD said the Nissan went down a grass embankment and struck a tree.
The driver, 32-year-old Robert Lane, was unrestrained.
Omaha Fire Department medics took Lane to a local medical center with lifesaving measures in progress.
Lane was declared dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
This is an ongoing investigation.
