Wausa defeats Fullerton in first round of state 61-33
LINCOLN, Neb. — Wausa is on to the state semis for the first time in more than 20 years.
The Vikings defated Fullerton 61-33 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Thursday night.

LINCOLN, Neb. — Wausa is on to the state semis for the first time in more than 20 years.
The Vikings defeated Fullerton 61-33 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Thursday night.
Preston Schlote scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Matthew Schindler also hit double digits with 14 points.
The victory marked the first at state for Wausa since 2003.
The Vikings will face the winner of Wynot and Elgin Public/Pope John in the semis at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
