Scottsbluff wins Chadron Golf Invite; Shaddick claims individual title
CHADRON — Scottsbluff edged Gering by four strokes to capture the team title at Thursday’s Chadron Golf Invitational, finishing with a team score of 331. Sidney placed third with 351.
Scottsbluff’s Noah Shaddick earned individual medalist honors with a 77, followed closely by Gering’s Jack Maser, who carded a 79 to take second. A four-way tie for third at 82 included Sidney’s Tobin Landen and Chadron’s Dagen Cranmore, as well as Scottsbluff’s Mitch Culek, who rounded out the top five with an 83.
The rest of the top 10 included: Gavin Carrizales, Scottsbluff (85), Cole Rafelson, Sidney (84), Zane Cullers, Chadron (86), Deakon Tuttle, Gering (86) and Jacob Bryner, Hemingford (86).
Host Chadron finished fourth in the team standings with a 355. Alliance rounded out the top five with a 373. A total of 11 schools competed.
