DAR recognizes American Legion members
The Daughters of the American Revolution Tuesday recognized members of the Sidney American Legion.

SIDNEY -- The Daughters of the American Revolution Sidney Chapter presented Sidney American Legion members with certificates acknowledging their strong patriotic respect, handling, and displaying of the flag of the United States of America.
Certificates were presented to Dale and Bonita Dickenson, Les and Judy Larson, John Shaffner, Randy Sonnie and Dennis Tuzicka.
The principle objectives DAR looks at are: keep the Flag flying, protect the Flag under all conditions, insure its correct use and display, educate children and adults in the authorized rules of the Flag Code adopted by the United States Congress.
On behalf of the Daughters of the American Revolution, "Thank you for your patriotism, and proudly displaying the American Flag."
