Body discovered along creek in Lincoln, police investigating

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln Police Department is investigating after a body was discovered along Oak Creek on Tuesday.

Police officers were called to Oak Creek near the Sandhills Global Youth Complex around 12:52 p.m. after receiving a report of a body near the water.

LPD said a preliminary investigation suggest the body had been there for some time

Investigators are responding to the scene.
