LINCOLN - Restaurants and bars in 89 Nebraska counties will be allowed to operate at 100% occupancy starting June 22.
Gov. Pete Ricketts made the announcement at his press briefing on Monday afternoon.
Additional changes starting Monday include tables can seat up to eight people, food can be eaten at the bar seating area, and games such as pool, darts, and arcade games will be allowed.
Venue staff is required to serve all food, meaning buffets and salads bars still won't be allowed.
The four counties these changes don't apply to are Hall, Hamilton, Merrick, and Dakota.
