LINCOLN, Neb. -- Police say a man found dead in a Lincoln parking lot has "unexplained injuries."

Lincoln Police say the man found dead in a car in a Lincoln Super Saver parking lot Monday morning. 

Officials say they forced entry into the car to gain access to the 36-year-old who was unresponsive. 

Shortly thereafter, they declared the man dead. 

Police say, due to come unexplained injuries, an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death. 

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact Lincoln Police.
