OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha man made his first court appearance Monday related to a shooting last week.

Twenty-two-year-old Robert Pierce faces felony assault and weapon charges.

This is after a shooting last Thursday that police say began with an argument at Pierce's house.

Pierce has denied any involvement in the shooting.

He's being held on $175,000 bond. His next court hearing was scheduled for January 14th.
