OMAHA, Neb. -- The expected run of severe weather is impacting public transportation in Nebraska's largest city.
The Metro system in Omaha is cancelling bus, ORBT and MOBY service by 2:00 p.m. Wednesday due to inclement weather and high sustained winds.
MOBY paratransit service will stop operating Wednesday around 1 p.m. Service will resume on schedule Thursday morning if conditions allow.
Metro will begin consolidating bus and ORBT service Tuesday evening at 1 p.m., with all service ending by 2 p.m. Service will resume on schedule Thursday morning if conditions allow.
