OMAHA, Neb.-- Omaha Police have made an arrest in a homicide that occurred at 4727 Erskine Street Monday night.

Officers responded to a call for a home invasion with reported shots fired. Officers then located a man in a vehicle north of the residence with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim, was 22-year-old Diego Vicharra, who was declared dead at the scene by OFD medics.

As the investigation continued, detectives were able to develop information on the suspect. 41-year-old Patrick Keenan, was located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was then booked into Pottawattamie County Jail for 2nd-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. He will be extradited to Omaha.  

27-year-old Robert Bailey, was also located and booked at Douglas County Corrections for burglary and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person for his role in the home invasion.

He is not considered a suspect in the murder of Vicharra.
