OPD investigating NYE bank robbery

OMAHA, Neb. -- Authorities are investigating a New Year's Eve bank robbery in Omaha.
According to Omaha Police, officers responded to a call at 12:48 p.m. at the US Bank located inside Bakers Supermarket at Lakeside Hills Plaza.
Officers were advised that a suspect passed a note to the bank teller demanding money. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect reportedly left the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6" with a thin build, wearing a white hoodie, blue surgical mask, ball cap and clear plastic gloves.
