Ricketts outlines unprecedented federal COVID cash projects
With an unprecedented $1 billion in federal COVID cash ready to be spent, Republican Gov. Pete Ricketts today unveiled his wish list.
In his eighth and final State of the State Address, Ricketts is asking lawmakers to OK over $700 million to help those directly impacted by the pandemic.

Ricketts also renewed his calls for a new $230 million prison and tax cuts for corporations and individuals, insisting those tax cuts are not just for the rich.
Democrats were quick to strike back claiming that Ricketts has failed to reform an unfair property tax system, failed to fix the broken child welfare system and failed to lessen massive prison overcrowding.
Democratic State Chair Jane Kleeb says Ricketts has also bucked COVID safety measures at every turn.
