Hastings College selects former Bronco coach and administrator Chris Clements as new Athletic Director

HASTINGS, NE — A former Hastings College coach and administrator is returning to lead the Bronco athletic department.
Hastings College Executive President Rich Lloyd announced on Friday that Chris Clements will be the next Athletic Director for the school. He will officially start his duties on August 8 and host a press conference on August 10.
Most recently, Clements spent three seasons as head coach of the NCAA Div. ll Minot State (ND) women’s soccer team. He guided the program’s growth from a three-win team his first year to an 11-6-2 record in his third year.
Before heading north, Clements spent five seasons as the women’s soccer coach at Hastings College. His teams recorded five-straight national tournament appearances and were regularly ranked in the NAIA top 25. He compiled an 81-17-10 record and won four regular-season conference championships. Clements also served as Associate Athletic Director while in Hastings.
Clements has also coached at Avila University and Central Missouri. He replaces B.J. Pumroy, who was dismissed on June 8 after spending three years as Athletic Director.
