LINCOLN, Neb. -- Two men that were reportedly killed by a vehicle in Lincoln have been identified, and a suspect is now facing first-degree murder charges.

The Lincoln Police Department said that they were dispatched to The Lodge Apartments on a call where two people had been hit and killed by a vehicle near the clubhouse on Monday.

Officers said they were dispatched to the incident around 1:22 p.m.

Authorities said the vehicle that hit the two men, 42-year-old Chris Karmazin and 45-year-old Ronald Gonzalez, was reportedly driven by 27-year-old Taylor Bradley.

LPD said Bradley has been charged on two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder and three counts of use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony and is currently in the Lancaster Correctional Facility. She could face life in prison.

LPD said that intent was supported by the location where the victims were hit, which was reportedly 20 to 30 yard from any roadway.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to the scene and they determined that Karmazin and Gonzalez were dead. There will be autopsies done in upcoming days.

Authorities reported that Karmazin and Gonzalez were maintenance employees for the apartment complex.

This is an ongoing investigation.
