Governor: 'Only dial 911 if you have a true emergency'

Emergency services across Nebraska are having a tough time tonight.
Gov. Jim Pillen's office noting that, "Regional 911 system failures have occurred this evening across the state. Emergency officials are working to address the issue and are in close contact with providers to resolve it. Nebraskans are encouraged to monitor local media and their cell phones for alerts and instructions as to alternative methods for reaching 911. Please only dial 911 if you have a true emergency."
Some counties are making alternate emergency numbers available.
In Douglas County call 402-444-5802. Sarpy County: 402-593-4111.
