LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man early Sunday morning.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to the 1600 block of Knox St. at 5:10 a.m. on Sunday for a report that a man was shot.

Police said they found a 47-year-old man had at least one gunshot wound and he was taken to a nearby hospital. His injuries are reportedly non-life threatening.

According to authorities, no arrests have been made at this time and the suspect is believed to be known to the victim.
