OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Maddy Schreiber scored 14 points, Callie Genke added 11 points and Green Bay held off No. 22 Creighton 65-53 on Thursday night.

Green Bay (2-1) earned its first win over an AP Top 25 team since 2019.

Schreiber scored eight of her points in the third quarter and Green Bay led 52-37 entering the fourth. But Creighton scored 14 of the opening 17 points of the fourth to get within 55-51.

Bailey Butler ended Green Bay's four-minute scoring drought to begin a game-closing 10-2 run. Lauren Jensen had Creighton's only field goal in the final six minutes.

Cassie Schiltz had 10 points for Green Bay, which started a six-game road trip.

Jensen led Creighton (2-1) with 21 points, nine coming in the fourth, and Emma Ronsiek added 15 points. Jensen was 8 of 18 from the field, but the rest of her teammates went 10 of 35.

The Phoenix led 21-5 in the first quarter as Creighton made just two field goals in the opening eight minutes. Green Bay shot 61% from the field in the first half, including 5 of 8 from 3-point range.

It was the first game between the two programs since 1995.

Saint Louis defeats Wyoming 79-69 in the Myrtle Beach Invitational

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) — Sincere Parker's 22 points helped Saint Louis defeat Wyoming 79-69 on Thursday in the Myrtle Beach Invitational.

Parker also added eight rebounds for the Billikens (4-0). Tim Dalger scored 17 points and added three steals. Terrence Hargrove Jr. was 3 of 7 shooting, including 0 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line to finish with nine points.

Caden Powell finished with 17 points and eight rebounds for the Cowboys (2-1). Cam Manyawu added 15 points, 12 rebounds and two steals for Wyoming. In addition, Sam Griffin had 15 points and four assists.

Taylor scores 21 as Air Force beats Lindenwood 76-58

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Ethan Taylor had 21 points in Air Force's 76-58 victory against Lindenwood on Thursday night in the Air Force Classic.

Taylor shot 4 for 13 (3 for 7 from 3-point range) and 10 of 14 from the free throw line for the Falcons (2-2). Jeffrey Mills scored 17 points and added six rebounds and four steals. Beau Becker had 13 points and was 4 of 9 shooting and 4 of 5 from the free throw line.

Keenon Cole led the way for the Lions (1-3) with 17 points. Lindenwood also got nine points from Darius Beane. In addition, Keith Haymon had eight points.

Ray'Sean Taylor hits shot at buzzer and SIU-Edwardsville beats Denver 77-74 in the Jaguar Classic

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Shamar Wright scored 24 points and Ray’Sean Taylor made a shot at the buzzer to help SIU-Edwardsville beat Denver 77-74 on Thursday night in the Jaguar Classic.

Wright had five rebounds for the Cougars (2-2). Taylor scored 21 points while going 7 of 12 (5 for 7 from 3-point range), and added six rebounds. Damarco Minor shot 5 of 14 from the field and 4 for 6 from the line to finish with 14 points, while adding 13 rebounds.

Tommy Bruner led the way for the Pioneers (2-2) with 33 points and two steals. DeAndre Craig added 10 points and seven rebounds for Denver. In addition, Isaiah Addo-Ankrah had 10 points.
