LINCOLN, Neb - The Big Ten announced postseason volleyball awards Thursday on the Big Ten Network.

John Cook was named coach of the year. 

Cook led a young Nebraska team with no seniors to its first Big Ten title since 2017. The Huskers finished the regular season 28-1 overall, their best regular season record since going 28-1 in 2005. 

Lexi Rodriguez earns her second Defensive Player of the Year honor, after being chosen for the award in 2021 as well. Rodriguez finished the regular season with 367 digs, averaging 3.60 digs/set. 

Bergen Reilly earned Big Ten Setter of the Year honors. The South Dakota native is the first freshman to be chosen for the award and second Husker to earn the honor since Kelly Hunter in 2017. Reilly was named conference Setter of the Week four times this year, and leads the conference with 10.74 assis/set (1,095 total), ranking 13th nationally. 

Harper Murray was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, becoming the second Husker to be given the honor. Murray averaged 3.29 kills/set and 336 overall. Murray was named conference Freshman of the Week three times throughout the year. 

Nebraska begins their 42nd straight NCAA tournament on Friday hosting Long Island.
