Early morning fire causes damage to vacant Omaha home
Firefighters reported heavy smoke with flames coming from the front of the home at 14th and Ellison Avenue
OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Fire Department is investigating an early morning fire at a vacant metro home.
According to a release by the department, firefighters reported heavy smoke with flames coming from the front of the home at 14th and Ellison Avenue after being called to the scene just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Further investigation revealed heavy fire damage to the interior main floor. WOWT in Omaha reported visible damage to the front exterior of the home.
Fire crews were able to get the fire out within 10 minutes of their arrival.
