When it comes to overall health and wellness Nebraskans apparently have a long way to go, at least according to one new study.

The state ranks the 8th worst, well behind the top three states of California, Arizona, and Florida, three so-called sunshine states.

The study based on recent data from the CDC, Census Bureau and National Park Service says the wellness industry is projected to reach the $7 trillion value by 2025.

Among the key findings in Nebraska, 79 percent have exercised in the past month and 63 per cent said they did not experience any poor mental health days in the past month.

If you’re wondering which state is worst. It’s Alabama.
