OPD investigates homicide from Friday night
The Omaha Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred late Friday night.
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred late Friday night.
Officers said they were sent to the 2700 block of Harrison St. at 11:40 p.m. on Friday for a report of a downed person.
According to authorities, Omaha Fire and Rescue began CPR and took the victim to a nearby hospital where he later died.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can contact OPD or Omaha Crime Stoppers. Tips leading to the arrest of a homicide suspect are eligible for a $25,000 reward.
