As Gov. Jim Pillen ups his promise to drastically cuts property taxes, opponents to a key part of his plan continue to make noise.

During a Wednesday speech in Lincoln Pillen said, ”We’re gonna get to 40 percent if we have to have a session every day until Christmas,” according to KOLN news.

At the same time, critics of Pillen's plan to pay for the tax cut by raising the state sales tax continue to make their case.
