Fireworks bans spread across Nebraska Panhandle as drought and wildfire threat intensify

More Panhandle communities are saying no to fireworks this year. Alliance, Chadron, Harrison, Hemingford, Kimball and Potter have approved restrictions or outright bans as drought conditions and major wildfires raise concerns ahead of the Fourth of July.
