(Omaha, Neb.) – An inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O) has been arrested. Kendall McNeese was taken into custody on March 29, 2022, by the Douglas County Sheriff’s office.

McNeese left CCC-O on February 24, 2022. He started his sentence on October 21, 2019. McNeese was sentenced to 8 to 13 years on charges out of Douglas County including first-degree assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He has a tentative release date of July 18, 2025.     

CCC-O is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities and attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
