Lincoln County woman named Miss Rodeo Nebraska 2026

A new Miss Rodeo Nebraska was crowned Wednesday night during the opening of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo at the Wild West Arena.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A new Miss Rodeo Nebraska was crowned Wednesday night during the opening of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo at the Wild West Arena.

Brylee Thompson, 21, of Hershey, Nebraska, earned the title.

She was one of three contestants in this year’s competition.

Thompson graduated from Mid-Plains Community College with a degree in business, emphasizing entrepreneurship, and a certificate in leadership.

Jessica Lange, 24, of Crofton, Nebraska, and Maycie Johnson of Oakland, Nebraska, were named runner-ups.
