Severe weather is underway in the Panhandle. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. for areas east of Alliance, including Ellsworth and Ashby. Winds up to 60 mph and quarter-size hail are possible as the storm races east at 40 mph.
